So I thought I would just make a little post about things going on...

Not really much is new... On the fursuit front, got some bad news with my inflatable jumpsuit. The fur on it is too crappy and the backing keeps ripping apart if I like...belly bump someone...It's not going to hold together, so unfortunately, I am going to have to turn it into a normal suit and just pad the belly a bit to give it a pudgy look.

Been wanting to do more with my art, but I haven't really been in the mood or feeling good enough to do that...

Thinking about scheduling another doctor apointment...I've been having a lot bad sharp pains in my lower stomach. pressing on it make it hurt...I can't tell if it's gas or other stuff...It's rather annoying.

Oh yea, my birthday is this coming tuesday ^^
I'll be 23.

Anywho...kinda tired atm...so I may head to bed...

My wuff and I decided that it actually isn't the best idea to hit AC.

We need the funding for important items for the fursuiting business. Plus we don't want to feel strained for funds afterwards. With the economy the way it is, financial security would relieve a lot of stress on both of us. It was also a deciding factor on who was going...and apparently most of the people I was really looking forward to seeing at AC, well...aren't going now... Which...kinda sucks X.x

So instead of AC, we'll be trying to hit MFM ^^
We will have a lot more time to get funds for it, I'll have more time for my...suit *grin* and our stress levels will be down.

Sorry for those who were looking forward to seeing me at AC.

Yea...

I finally just got done with my new husky head and I must say, I really really like it. It looks really good, and for it being capable of a half suit and a full suit, they both really work well...
I can't wait to show it off to people, but I need to get my paws on a nice camera. It has a damn awesome moving jaw in it too, it works quite well. The suit will have quite a few surprises as well, some I will not be mentioning publicly. if I can pull this off, it will definitely make my suit unique XD

As for my cold, it is going bye bye! Which I am so incredibly happy about...the whole...dizzy spell crap, coughing up lungs...runny nose...that crap absolutely sucked X.x
I had the dizzy spells happen so often I was starting to think it was my glasses. I got screwed over in classes at school because of my sickness >.> luckily though, I talked to my teacher and he said that if I showed proof that I was ill, I could possibly have one of my assignments waived, which would help a LOT. I have been non-stop busy for the last 7-8 weeks. I haven't been able to do much drawing.

Speaking of which, I DID manage to do a drawing or two. See, in the past I had come up with the idea for a comic. Now, what I was coming up with was kinda similar to a lot of other furry comics out there...I kind of started to lose interest in it, plus I thought I could do better with a different story line. I have always been a fan for that fantasy feel, kinda like final fantasy 9. The older clothing, the contraptions that are made, magic...all that... I came up with an idea for a new story line and I really like how it is coming. I also have an idea for a concept for my fursona, a gimmick if you will...though, I don't think it would work IRL :p Basically, the idea is that I would carry people around on my belly in a sort of air ship...as a blimp would do...but I would use rockets, or some sort of engine to blast me around. I drew out a few concept drawings that I will probably upload to FA...

Anywho...I will try and post pics of the new head soon.

So I am feeling a lot better today, I still feel quite crappy...
Mostly all that has changed is that my face doesn't feel like it was stabbed >.>

I woke up at about 3 - 4 A.m. today in pain, it hurt so bad that I kind of felt like crying...I went and got an ibuprofen and chewed it up. It was nasty tasting but it really helped a lot. I finally got back to sleep and I was out for hours. I think that's the most sleep I have gotten in a long time. I went to bed at like... 11 PM. all in all, I think I was asleep for about 11 hours. I really needed it. I ended up not going to school again...I kinda figured that would happen because of how I felt, luckily, I sent a classmate all the stuff I was supposed to turn in. I'm probably gonna take today very easy. I may do some work on my new fursuit head. I can't wait until that head is done...it's turning out to be my best work yet ^^ I'll see about posting some pics sometime...maybe a video even ^^

I haven't been able to really post much lately cuz I've been so damn busy. You can blame school for that. Work on my fursuit is progressing nicely. I can't wait to see the head completed. I'd like to have it done by the picnic. The leopard only needs the feet and head to be completed. Aerak and I hope to sell him to a good home before AC as we hope to go.

anywho, I think I am gonna try and lay down.

Today is a perfect example of why I dislike riding the bus to school.

So I hop on the bus, there were a lot of kinda scary people riding...now, I try not to judge...but coming from the background that I did, I knew it wasn't the best crowd..
it was loud, and yea...I can do loud, drown it out with music...that's fine...but like...a stop or two later, some lady got on the bus and she had forgotten which bus to take so she went to ask someone about it...when a younger lady replied with "I don't know..." it soundedlike the person who asked called her a bitch. Well, the younger lady retorted with "what'd you just say? you call me a bitch?" there was some mumbling, I couldn't understand it...she sat down and started naming out racial slurs like... "Fucking white crackers..." stuff like that... now... I was pretty much the only white guy on the bus...so either I missed something or I did something. either way, I just ignored it.

A little bit further, we picked up someone who was quiet at first, but when a "white gangster" guy came onto the bus, he was wearing a tanktop with a white hat and white shorts...the guy suddenly shouted out "ICE ICE BABY!" but you could tell it was slurred. so the guy was drunk and it kept getting worse...people tried to get him to shut up but he started getting angry. well, the racist chimed in and told the guy, colorfully, to shut the fuck up. He then started calling people crackhead monkeys. 1 guess where that went from there...the bus driver had to park the bus cuz the guy started to piss everyone off on the bus... Oh, and did I mention this guy was right next to me, with my laptop out for everyone to see? I put it away quick and got my stuff on, just incase I needed to make a break for it. a guy stood up in the back and tried to calm things down. all he got from the drunkard was the monkey slur and that didn't make him very happy. people had to hold them back from hitting each other...luckily, the drunk guy just got pissed and kicked the back side door open and yelled at the bus. oh, and he seemed to like showing birdies to people. you'd think the bus driver would drive off now, but unfortunately he couldn't, someone went up demanding she be let off. I think she was related to the drunk guy or something. the bus driver was really reluctant but managed to get her off without letting the drunk guy back on.

The rest of the ride home was still loud and consisted of how people were gonna knock his ass out...

Grow up people...please... good god...

I swear I am gonna get my license so I don't have to go through this shit again.

Well, it looks like the whole dizzy spell thing is going away...thank god...I've had probably only two all day...which is a really big improvement.
I got a lot of work done on my new head today. Aaaaaaand...it's a moving jaw! A very effective moving jaw too ^^ I am looking forward to getting it finished.
The jumpsuit is ready, the legs still need to be padded a bit...but that shouldn't be too hard to do...

Got school tomorrow, not really looking forward to it...I hate having to travel to school...it takes like...an hour... I have to wait for the bus to come...which sucks on its own...40 minutes ON the bus...and abou 10 minutes to get to class...and usually I get there really early because...the bus isn't friendly with coming out to the suburbs during the day...I suppose I will just have to deal with it for a while tho, so it's all good...

and on a side note...there's something that kinda pisses me off...I hate it when people compare an artist or a piece of art to someone else or another piece of art... When someone says, "Wow, your style looks so much like so and so..." or "Wow, you should use so and so's art as an influence so much..." It really makes you feel a little less unique and special...at least that's how it feels for me... I work really hard to make my art the way it is. I've strived for years...and for someone to just make it feel anything less is kind of an insult.

Man...it's been a long week...
the weekend has been nice, but I have been feeling uneasy, dizzy....the last...6-7 days now?
I took some ear drops cuz Aerak and I thought it may have had to do with earwax...it seems that the hearing in my right ear faded out a bit, and I can't hear as well out of it now X.x and I am still getting dizzy spells...
Weekends are nice, but it's difficult to see a doctor over the weekend...

In other news tho, we finally got our button badge press ^^
This means that we will have the opportunity to make monies off of them...
I uploaded new art to FA...I didn;t quite get everyone I wanted drawn tho X.x
Things got too busy for me to get everyone...oh well, I can probably find more time at a later point when I start to feel better.

I got a lot of work done today.

I had to stay home today because I was ill...I kept having dizzy spells all day...Aerak and I may think it have to do with the low pressure system that passed through recently ( yay thunderstorm ) as I have waxy ears...
As a result, the latter part of the day, I was feeling better...I managed to get a LOT of my fursuit sewn the belly is still not done yet, the inner part isn't done yet, the "features" haven't been padded yet. And we got started on a suit we intend to sell... We haven't gotten our button press yet, but we're hoping to soon. We DID order a t-shirt for Akorn Studios so, that'll be good. It will give us a chance view merchandise before we sell it...which is always good :p

going off a topic a bit...1.) Carson daily sucks ass...his jokes are horrible and tasteless...
and 2.) http://www.akornstudios.net/alkora/lol-ads.jpg (wtf? dude, at least if you are going to fake like you are scanning someone, atleast get the damn OS right >.> It's really not hard to figure out) I think it's an ad on LJ or DA or...something...it's popped up twice now, just...outa nowheres...

Well, I am oficially on the lease at the apartment here...It took like, 3 weeks for everything to be taken care of. the office lost my papers a few times >.> and the background check took a really long time, buuuuuuut, I got my keys and everything now so, it's all good ^^ I am happy it's all done and taken care of.

My fursuit has gotten a lot done on it too. At the moment, the jumpsuit is partially sewn, partially pinned together...I needed to make a few adjustments to the fur as I put it all together. It looks really cool, but I still need to do more work on it. I hope to post pictures of it soon.

I can't say all of what it will be...
But I do think you guys will like it!

and if it catches on, I may expand into other things...stay tuned!

Btw, did I mention it is warm outside!

I know that this is like...the third time I switched journals, but it didn't really make sense to post under an account that wasn't really my fursona...
This fits more and makes more sense.

So I hate starting off entries as being...drama related...tho I suppose this isn't too bad as it doesn't involve other furs :p

I've been soooooo incredibly busy lately...
Just my 1 class in marketing is pretty much monopolizing my time X.x
I have to listen to 2 CDs from a book about marketing entitled "Purple cow" and write an essay about it (I turned one in just last night on the first 3 disks), I have to make 2 youtube videos, one has to be in our group and the other has to be a personal video. I have to re-do a post card assignment because a group member told me the assignment was wrong (I was absent the day it was announced because I was ill) I have to design an entire coffee shop myself - logo, RL pics of what the shop would look like, slogans, tshirt designs etc... because....god forbid any of my damn team members show up to class the day we are supposed to plan it all out >.> oh yea, and did I mention that I also have an animation class that has us doing 2 animations...at the same time? Keep in mind that like...I am trying to get a source of income... Aerak and I are trying to start our own fursuit gig, I haven't been able to get my whole suit sewn and I have been working on the suit for...over 2-3 weeks now? And I am talking just about the jumpsuit... There are more things going on too, but I can't really tell it out publicly...

*sighs* oh well...I suppose I will just need to deal with it.

I'll post more later about our fursuit gig if people are interested...
